This week I tried Italian food! Matthew found this place in San Francisco so we checked it out. We went to the restaurant after hiking so we looked pretty casual. We walked into the restaurant and felt extremely under-dressed. Apparently there was a engagement party going on and everyone was wearing dresses and suits and I walked in jeans and a sweatshirt. We got seated and the table was fancy with special dish and utensil placement.
We were served bread and ordered bruschetta as an appetizer. The bruschetta was super good. It was overloaded with cheese and tomatoes! Then we got our dishes. Matthew ordered the carbonara and I got gnocchi. Matthew’s dish only had 3 ingredients, but it was delicious! The cheese was real tasty! The only downside to it was that it was salty.. My plate was just alright. I’m not a fan of gnocchi. It was extremely doughy, but the sauce was great! It wascheesy and sausage was amazing.
Overall the food was good and I had a good experience! Ah! But it was a quite bit pricey! It was about $20 per plate!! But yeahhh.. maybe next time I’ll order something else and dress better..
Thanks for reading. 🙂
